Rabbi and notary in Tangier. He legalised, together with another notary, Rev. Mordekhay Laredo, the signatures of the "Haskmah" of Tangier in 5555 (1795), or "Taqqanah", proclaiming the emancipation of the Tangier Community from the Great Rabbi of Tetuan.

In 1842 he was notary in Tangiers.
